QVA-log washers

QVA Log Washers or ‘rock washing machines’ are used to break down competent clay briquettes.

Breaking down clay lumps and removing clay from agglomerated rock and stone, makes it ideal for diamond aggregate. It has proven to be far more effective than rotary scrubbers.

A 350 ton unit, operating at a large Botswana diamond mine, paid for itself within months. It radically improved the recovery of diamonds encapsulated in Kimberlite clays.

Major features available from QVA Log Washers:

  1. A significantly more intense process than conventional rotary scrubbers
  2. Uses far less water and power, offering significant savings through water consumption and reduced power
  3. Maintenance and capital layout is considerably less
